My name is Veronica Scavo Heinrich, I'm an osteopathic physician (DO) and a board-certified neurologist. Through my practice, I've developed a deep respect for the intricacy of the body and am in awe every day of the elegance in which it functions, down to the busy roles of each of our tiny cells. Our bodies are beautiful in all they accomplish every day. As a physician, I am not arrogant enough to believe that we "heal" anyone, but rather, we work to remove obstacles and offer support as the body works to heal itself.

It is with this reverence for our bodies and passion for fundamental health, that I have developed the Doctor S Naturals products. Each product is made with very simple, plant-based ingredients that have been organically grown. I leave out harsh, artificial additives and where possible, I use glass over plastic to minimize our exposures to microplastics.

The skin has incredible absorptive capabilities - which means that a portion of whatever we put on our skin will seep in and find its way into our lymph and blood circulation, and soak into our tissues. Many chemicals that make up many commercial products are toxic to our systems. Every day, we continue to learn about the adverse effects of many of these chemicals (the most common offenders include parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes and fragrances, sulfates, formaldehyde, as well as many others). As cancer and autoimmune rates continue to rise, I believe we as a collective have the responsibility of examining our surroundings and minimizing toxin exposure where possible. This includes the seemingly benign products on your bathroom shelf.

At the same time, I recognize the greater affordability these commercial products often offer. Health is important for everyone. This is why I also work to keep our prices as affordable as we can.
